Red stucco masking tapes

Stucco tapes are offered in several different colors, but the most popular and commonly used is the iconic bright red tape. Besides being easy to remember, this color actually serves an important function in the stucco application process.

The red color of the stucco tape provides good visibility to contractors when applying stucco. Not only does it make it easy for them to see where the tape is in order to take extra care around the edges when using a trowel to apply stucco around the edges, but it is critical at the end of the process when the tape is being removed. The bright red color makes any remaining tape easy to spot so that none gets left behind after the job is complete.
