Tips for Applying HVAC Tape

Applying HVAC tape properly is important to ensuring all necessary components of the HVAC system are completely sealed and seamed together. The following three steps can ensure the most effective way to apply HVAC tape to achieve complete system closure:

Cut or tear the tape at the proper length
Remove the liner of the tape if necessary
Use a squeegee to finish applying
