Goosnecking a Waste Bag

Goosenecking is a method of securing, waterproofing and particle-proofing a trash or waste containment bag. When done correctly, goosenecking will prevent the contents of the bag from spilling, leaking or falling out when the bag is inverted. The steps to goosenecking a trash or waste containment bag are as follows:

  1. Bundle the neck of the bag and spin
  2. Tape around the bundle to seal the bag closed
  3. Fold the spun bundle over your hand holding the bag
  4. Tape the bundle again to securely seal the bag

The proper way to gooseneck a trash or waste containment bag is fully explained in this video.
