HICKORY, N.C. (September 2014) – Shurtape®, a leading manufacturer of pressure-sensitive tapes, has expanded its offering of double-coated tapes with DP 380, a double-coated polyester film tape for use in permanent bonding applications.
An easy-to-use, general-purpose tape, DP 380 is a clear, double-sided solution for mounting and splicing tasks, such as mounting emblems, nameplates, banners, light signs and window blinds. The tape, which features an acrylic adhesive and white, poly-coated liner, is hand-tearable and highly conformable, even to irregular surfaces. It also offers excellent moisture resistance in high-humidity environments.
DP 380 is suitable for applications where high shear and adhesion are necessary, including low surface energy substrates. It can also be used where permanent bonding or attachment is required, such as POP displays and laminating materials.
