Your compensation is much more than just your pay. We offer both competitive wages and bonuses as well as health care and education benefits that help our employees effectively manage the challenges of their jobs and their lives.

> Pay
Competitive pay? Yes, we provide that at Shurtape. But there's more to it than that. We provide a 401(k) retirement program and a service bonus that increases with every year of employment. In addition to these benefits we also provide paid vacation and holidays.

> ShurShare
ShurShare, also known as our Employee Involvement Plan, is a gain-sharing program that allows all employees to share in the benefits derived from successful improvements on the shop floor. Shurtape measures several key performance metrics every month, and hourly employees can earn a quarterly bonus for driving improvements in these areas.

> Credit Union
Another pay-related Shurtape benefit is the Shuford Credit Union. Shurtape employees are eligible to be members of our federally insured and regulated credit union. Through it, you'll have a range of services available to you, including:
- Checking accounts            - Money market accounts
- Certificates of deposit       - ATM card
- Direct deposit                      - Loans

> Health
We want Shurtape employees to be healthy. It's good for business, and it also makes working here more fun and more fulfilling for everyone. We provide group insurance - health, hospitalization, life, dental, temporary disability and long term disability. We provide physical exams for employees and their covered dependents. Employees are also eligible for additional life and accident insurance.

To promote a healthy work environment, we have nurses on staff to provide health care and advice. They treat work and non-work related illness and injuries, offer pre-screening assessments, manage an OSHA-regulated hearing conservation program, help you manage worker's compensation claims and work with physicians and insurance companies to advise and manage illnesses. We also have a temporary alternative work program. If you are injured on the job, we will help you remain productive by giving you a different type of job at Shurtape while you recover.

We've also developed some other health benefits that help working families. For example, our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and our Flexible Spending Accounts. The EAP allows for free, confidential counseling for marriage, finance, stress, alcohol and drug abuse, mental health, work performance and family life. To help manage the out-of-pocket costs of health and dependent care, our optional Flexible Spending Accounts allow you to deduct money from your paycheck to be set aside and used tax-free to pay expenses. Flexible Spending Accounts are a great way for families to manage their health and dependent care expenses.

> Wellness
Wellness Works, our wellness program, rewards employees for being healthy. The goal is to help our employees adopt and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Wellness Works activities include weight loss, nutrition, stress management, exercise, and health information. We even offer discounted rates on fitness memberships at local workout facilities.

Our employees actively participate in Wellness Works by joining Shurtape walking groups, attending health and nutrition workshops, and participating in weight loss programs. It's just one more way Shurtape helps employees, by promoting healthy behaviors and lowering health care costs.

> Education
Education doesn't end with high school or college - we all know that learning goes on for a lifetime. To encourage lifelong learning and to help you manage your family's education, Shurtape offers three benefits -  the 529 College Bound Fund, tuition reimbursement and scholarships.

The 529 College Bound Fund is a great way to set aside money for college tuition. You get to choose from a variety of investment options, can start with low minimum investments and are eligible for special gift and estate tax treatment. You can even withdraw funds at any time.

Through our tuition reimbursement program, we'll pay up to $2,000 per year for books and tuition for approved vocational, technical or college courses. If you're working toward a Masters degree, you could receive up to $5,000 per year from Shurtape - with a $10,000 lifetime limit. We're committed to bright people at all educational levels and encourage our employees to pursue continuing education.

The same holds true for your children. Each year, Shurtape awards scholarships for children of employees.
